Yoshitaka TAKAGAI − Editorial Board Member
Yoshitaka TAKAGAI, Associate Professor of Analytical Chemistry at Division of
Environmental System Management, Faculty of Symbiotic Systems Science, Fukushima
University, was born in 1976 in Miyazaki Prefecture (Japan). He received Bachelor (1999),
Mater (2001) and Doctor (2003) degrees of Engineering from Ibaraki University. After being a
postdoctoral fellow of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science (2003), he joined Fukushima
University in 2004 as Lecturer, and was then promoted to Associate Professor in 2008. During
2008 – 2010, he concurrently held Japan Society for the Promotion of Science Visiting
(Postdoctoral) Fellow for Research Abroad (belonged to Department of Chemistry, Wake Forest
University in United State). His research interests include developing powerful preconcentration
and functional separation systems for instrumental analyses, such as chromatography and
spectrometry.
